honky cracker: Friday Monkey Story
I may have told you this one before. But just incase I haven't...

When my father was a teen, he had a pet monkey. The monkey was given to him by his cousin, who didn't want to take care of the monkey anymore.

The monkey's name was Peggy.

Years later my father would meet a woman, marry her, and sire a son with her. (Two, technically. But the second one came later.) They are still married to this day.

That woman's name? Peggy. She's my mum.

Explains a lot, eh?
