Tropical Depression: spring cleaning I cleaned out that drawer yesterday. The one with all those Kiehl's samples, and the dog vitamins. Those Elvis stamps from 1993. I found the skewers he made out of twigs from that time my parents visited and I totally screwed up grilling the fish. I threw them away. I found a plug that charges something I no longer have. And some recipes from a can of italian tomatoes. A phone number. A silver pie server thing. and my aviation safety checklist card. It's a card with 12 questions you're supposed to ask yourself before getting into a helicopter/ small flying thing. Some of the questions are good all-purpose questions.
Who is in charge? Is there a better way to do it? Can you justify your actions? Do you have an escape route? Are any rules being broken? Are communications getting tense?
I think I'll put it in my pocket with that piece of paper that says Keep your big mouth shut.
