Tropical Depression: The DTs
Last week I was in Tuscany eating good cheese, sitting in the shade of a cherry tree getting ready to head into Florence to see Michelangelo's statue of David
and meet our reservation at the Uffizi gallery where I continued my search for depictions of beheadings

Oh, how I love the beheadings.

I saw more pictures of the baby jesus than you can shake a bottle of aqua frizzante at.

I ate fresh hazelnut nougat.

I saw lots of pantsless statues.

I climbed hundreds of steps to the tops of domes and towers.

I watched handsome older Italian men in crisp suits read the paper.

I shopped at the Superfresca and irritated the lady at the deli counter with my desire for olives.

I saw a snake!

And today....I am at work.
