The Wrong Squid: Leadbelly sung by a kitten
Last night I had a dream that I found some old recordings that had been done by a kitten. The kitten was apparently quite talented, as it was able to play guitar and toy accordion, sing, and possibly even record its own record (there were no liner notes). I remember the songs sounding like Leadbelly, if Leadbelly had been a kitten. I was very excited to release these songs. The album cover was going to have a picture of the kitten playing the toy accordion and looking surprised, as if even it thought a kitten playing the accordion was weird. The music was very nice.

Dorf thinks we should record a bunch of songs and just tell everyone they were played by a kitten. I'm not sure how believable this is. I do wish there was some way to hear the songs again. I need to figure out how to hook a minidisc recorder up to my brain as I sleep. Which will probably coincide with a spate of nightmares about John Mayer.

Reports of his standup have sounded quite nightmarish. Nice to excel at sucking in multiple media.
