It is commonly expected that Hillary Clinton has a well-established ceiling of possible votes, either you love or you hate her, however, last night she proved to me to also have a very concrete floor to go with that ceiling. Her support seems to be fairly intractable and has enough support to where she isn't going to just fade away in the face Obama's "movement."
Metaphorically speaking, if Obama is riding a flood of support, then Hillary is a dike, standing firm against the waters.
Errm...maybe I should have said levy.
I know, I know - not fair.
