Post-Modern Drunk: What Gets Left Behind
I never posted this, from back in May, but it remains true, except for the things that I did eventually give back.

Things Lost in the Break-Up
  • Angostura Bitters
  • Dry and Sweet Vermouth
  • One affectionate cat with the tendency to vomit up hairballs
  • The wine rack
  • The food processor
  • The best of the assorted dishes, glasses, pots, and pans

Things I got to keep in the Break-Up
  • A set of Christmas themed cheese knives
  • A bottle of Lillet
  • A ten year supply of Sriracha, which I almost never have use for, and when I do, only a couple of drops, but is surprisingly useful in Bloody Marys
  • A liter bottle of Golden Boy fish sauce, which I bought because we needed fish sauce but couldn't figure out how to open until it was too late, oh too late,, and now I basically have it only because I really love the Mountain Goats song "Golden Boy" beyond all understanding. And also, you never know when you might need fish sauce, even if I have no idea what to use it in, and don't cook anymore anyway.
  • Trivia at Pete's Candy Store
  • One affectionate cat with the tendency to kick poo out of the litter box
  • Lupus
