sunshine jen: Truffle Haiku Quintet
Hey K, remember these??? --J

1.

Waiting in the dark
I drink another cider
The truffles arrive.

2.

In a take-out tin,
They jump and bounce and collide
Hand-made lunatics.

3.

Eating the truffles
Slowly Slowly Slow Slow Slow
I embrace silence

4.

I only need one
Diving through my saliva
Like a young dolphin.

5.

Oh vitality!
I find you in the truffle.
I begin to glow.
