for reasons too vulgar to go into on a "family website", i just sent an email to a friend with the following story: my RA my freshman year one weekend had her boyfriend in town and on Friday night, it was like 1 in the morning and we were making too much noise and she came out to tell us to pipe down and her lips were so chapped that we called her "chappy" for the rest of the year. i mean, it was a nickname that really really stuck.
