I saw a gal at the library the yesterday totally decked out in 80s clothing, on purpose: black lacy, frilly skirt a la Madonna "Like a Virgin", long purple tank top with black polka dots cinched with a black, metal rivet belt, a whole mess of jelly bracelets (mint!) and a headband atop a haircut that can only be described as a reverse mullet. She was actually partying in the front and conducting business in the back! She was checking out a stack of CDs, presumably to convert them to cassette tape. My only hope is that one of the CDs was Wham! or Cyndi Lauper.
I think I’ll watch Pretty in Pink this weekend.
