Yesterday I went to get some vegetables in Kensington Market on the way home and I ran into my upstairs neighbour, Sarah. "You heading home?" she asked. "Let's drink white wine in the back yard."

Well, we sat and chatted in the backyard about cute and stupid boys and our histories.
Turns out she is from a little town in Saskatchewan called Lacadina. Heh. Sounds like "lack adina".

You know I love to cook, and I never put any recipes down, so here is one really fast yummy stirfry:

Take green onion, ginger garlic: slice fine.
Chop up some: zuccini, mushrooms, snowpeas, red bell pepper, and organic medium-firm tofu and...MANGO cubes.

Heat up some olive oil with a splash of sesame oil in a hot wok.

Put in the garlic/ginger. wait until you smell them cooking.

Add everything else. Stir rapidly.

Condiments:
I added mushroom "oyster sauce"/ a splash of old red wine, some viet hot sauce (with the rooster on the front), and raw sesame seeds (loads of calcium). I also am growing chives in the back garden. chopped some of those up, too.

Yummmmmmm.

no, I am not a vegetarian.
