Pony: Karaoke
9.24.2004

At the interactive department party last night, I sang Karaoke for the first time. All years of the dread, fear and anticipation melted with the first few notes of Papa Don't Preach.

I was joined onstage by the lovely Elanamatic. Half way through the song I realised that I might be giving a politically incorrect representation of my beliefs.

As we finished the last few bars of "oh-yeah. I'm gonna keep my baby..yeah..." I felt compelled to slur: "Of course, every woman should have a choice."
Then I stumbled back to my seat to a laughing/crying Chris who let me bury my red face in his shoulder.
