Pony: Homework Club
10.21.2004

I signed up to tutor a 7th grader at work once a week.
I have been assigned a girl. A 13-year-old girl. How do you talk to teens? I have no idea. I am a bit nervous she will think I am uncool.

But I am excited, all the same. There are no kids in my life right now. I mean, none in Toronto (a very adorable pitzeleh in Brooklyn, mind you). Maybe she can teach me about pop culture. And I can help her with her reading. And we can eat chips. And talk about boys. I hope she doesn't need help with math.
