Pony: Jewish History Class
10.28.2004

Chris and I are taking this mini-course in Jewish history in a synagogue basement. It is pretty cool. The teacher is a professor from York University.

Last night we went from the middle ages to the Vienna Conference.
And we learned so, so much, my head was bursting. But the lesson I bring to you, dear readers?

It can take hundreds of years, an enlightenment, and a massive, bloody revolution to get really basic human rights for people. And a few beaurocrats pedalling fear while the rest of us look away can take them away in a matter of days.
