Pony: bikes and baby rib flat bottoms
4.6.2005

The bottom bracket on my bike was making the crank all wonky and it was not fun getting to work today. Reba at Urbane Cyclist is replacing the bracket and tightening the brakes for a very good price. But she says the bike needs about 100 bucks more work, which is more than I paid for it.
I want a new bike. Anyone selling theirs? There are some last-year model fuji hybrids on sale for $300. Are mieles as good?

I went to the overpriced American Apparel yesterday because they are selling my favourite underwear. Baby rib flat bottoms have ruined all my other underwear for me. I am not the only one who feels this way. Cut for lowrise pants, they hug the hips, are pure cotton, and the elastic does not dig.

I am still ambivalent about the homemade porn aesthetic of the American Apparel print ads. Kudos to them, I guess, for sexing up t-shirts. I just wish they featured as many dudes.
