Pony: pomeranian
4.13.2005

I almost hit a pomeranian on my bike today. Little yipper was snuffling in the bike path and i almost didn't see him. For some reason, the name "pomeranian" has always made me think of the song "Young American" by Bowie. Except, I sing: "She was a pomeranian".

Other names also bring songs to my head: The store Carlton Cards instantly evokes "Charles in charge". Carlton Cards in our days and our lives. Annoying. I can't exactly sing it outloud, esp since they are located exclusively in underground mini-malls where people don't tolerate eccentric behaviour.

Speaking of music, have any of you heard of a band called Smoosh? They are 13 and 11 years old. They are surprisingly good. Where do you go from there?
