Pony: Hey Ho And Away We Go
5.13.2005

Many years ago I rode a donkey in Jerusalem, and the whole time i could not get the song out of my head:

Were you ever in Quebec
Stowing Timber on a Deck
Where the King wears a golden crown
riding on a donkey?
hey ho and away we go, donkey riding donkey riding.
hey ho and away we go
riding on donkey.

Like most childhood songs (and 'she'll be comin' round the mountain' is no exception to this rule), it has developed a sexual connotation in the retelling.
