Pony: Teens
1.27.2006

Last night I had my awesome student for homework club (we did math and then more drawings of animals pooing).

Then Kiff and I went to Margo's for dinner. Her middle son, 17, made us a delicious spaghetti with meat sauce and her daughter, 13, (who got pre-braces spacers put in her teeth and it hurts to eat) came down and chatted with us for a while about everything from sports, to politics to making out.

They are the kinds of teens that make you think: If I could guarantee that my kids would turn out like this, I would procreate tomorrow. She is a good mom.

For ages, I was convinced that teens were brutal based on my memories myself. I remember being eye-rollingly self-conscious and pretentious - and almost constantly embarassed. Wasn't I?

I don't really know what the point of this post is. Just - the kids. They are alright, eh?
