Pony: Friday Random 10 - Now with commentary
1.12.2007

Drunken Angel - Lucinda Williams - I love this song. Makes me think of those bad boys you romanticize until their helplessness makes them very, very real.

Making Plans for Nigel - Nouvelle Vague - Kiff put these Europop loungey folks in our mix. First time I have listened to this song. I like.

The Eternal - Joy Division - A very moody song with an excruciatingly long instrumental intro.

So Begins Our Alabee - Of Montreal - Everytime Of Montreal goes on the stereo, I say: "I really like this band. I should listen to them more."

The Greatest - Cat Power - I want to hate Cat Power and the way she sadly gums away at things, but secretly I love her.

Hanky Panky Nohow - John Cale

Pink and Sour - Califone - These guys sound like Beck, no?

Foil - Autechre - Ambient late night/early morning dancey instrumental

Childhood - Beach House - Adamantly dreamy tunes

From The Flagstones - The Cocteau Twins - Kiff started downloading Cocteau Twins. They used to form the core of my listening taste in the early '90's
