Gabriel is way into electronics these days, and that scares the hell out of me. In particular, he seems to want to make long-distance calls on the cordless phone (he actually called matt and jackie) and pull the printer off its shelf.
From mixture of creative drive and my urge to place all electronics out of arms' reach, Kiff has created some truly stunning pieces of furniture.
The latest is a cabinet for our printer and other computer ephemera. The cabinet doors are made of this old box kiff found in an alleyway in Little Italy years back,with the stamp "Farmacia" on it. I have always loved the look of that wood - I like that there is a story embedded in "found" pieces, and how this one in particular seems to be framed by the rest of the cabinet.
