poop beetle: pony's questions
1.2004
My sister and I recently tried to come up with a bunch of "getting to know you "type questions in
Pony's
same "either or" format.

Ours were not too inspired, although they were fun enough if asked really fast.

We were going for stuff like:

Apples or oranges?
Dogs or cats?
Beach or the mountains?
Rivers or lakes?
Vodka or Bourbon?
Baked potatoes or fries?
Coke or Pepsi (really lame, everyone chooses "coke", even pepsi drinkers)
. . . . BUT then there's bottle or can?
East Coast or West Coast?
Action or drama?
Mystery or comedy?

Not too interesting, I felt like there should be more out there, although these could work as "warm up" questions- or "keep them off their guard" type filler in between the really illuminating questions whatever those might be.

pony had some great one's

I'm not happy with these, but here're a few more.

Humus or guacamole?

Tomato or Vinegar based bar b q

Fitzgerald or Hemingway?

Faulkner or Tennessee Williams (they're hardly similar at all, but I never could get through Faulkner and used to tell myself it didn't matter cause I had T.W.)

JRR Tolkein or C.S. Lewis

Swings or slides?

Sandbox or monkey bars?

Play dough or clay?

Crayons or markers

Action figures or dolls?

Puppets or marionettes?

The power of invisibility or independent flight? (stolen from "This American Life)

French or Spanish? (language, wine, omelets, cities- whatever)

Filing or collating?

Customer service or data entry?

Poison or knives

Arson or armed robbery?

Shop lifting or drunk and disorderly?

These are still not it- or not ALL of it.
But the ball is rolling- there's a definitive list of questions out there- I feel it.
Someone else come up with some more.
