A family story:
I was looking through family photos when I was in Vancouver, and came to the realisation that I come from a tall, thick, stock. No wonder everyone calls me shrimp. I am the shortest, slightest person in my family--on both sides, I think.

Sitting around the kitchen table with Helen and Izzy and looking at family photos from great-grandpa brail, helen told me about great-aunt Dinsy, his sister. She was so gigantic and strong that she was able to lift a small horse.

Apparently, when my cousin was turning out to be unusually large, there were worried whispers that she had inherited Dinsy's genes.
